POV puts the viewer inside one side of the conversation, which changes what you can leave out. You no longer have to explain the relationship, the history, or the stakes — the framing implies them, and the audience fills the rest in. That is why the format compresses so well into fifteen seconds: most of the exposition is happening in someone's head rather than on screen.
The caption usually carries the premise ("POV: your best friend just texted this"), so the conversation itself should read as an ordinary thread. Resist writing lines that address the viewer directly — the moment a message explains the situation, the frame breaks. Everything the audience needs should be inferable from what the two people say to each other and how long they take to say it.
